They look a lot more improved than the ones I had owned about 2 years ago. I like the red stitching.

How stiff are the gloves? If you make a fist, does the foam sort of contour to your hand, or does it just bend a little bit?

I would say that they contour to your fist. Very comfortable.

Has anyone else had problems with the stitching in the knuckles? After some light sparring sessions (a couple of weeks worth), the leather actually tore where it was stitched in the knuckles and you can now see the foam. Didn't happen with my black pair (they still look GREAT), but with my red ones. I bought them several months ago, but have <1 month of sparring in them. Think I should contact Truth Fightwear or suck it up?

I had a pair that came unstitched between knuckles. It was just one finger and I never bothered to get it fixed and it hasn't spread. I have two pair the gel (8 oz) and regular. I feel guilty using the gels as they seem to land a lot heavier than the others (moreso than the exta 4 oz would give).

James - dont know if you have already contacted me but they should not be coming apart like that with less than a month of use, it is a defect.

Email me at paul@txmma.com with your order number. Thanks.

Paul
