Truth Fightwear MMA Glove Review *pics*

As most of us know the question about gloves comes up every week. I hope this review will eliminate some of those questions. These Truth gloves are great, very good construction and materials. These also are sized a little different than most gloves that I have. I have never worn anything smaller than a large but Paul sent me a Medium. I tried them on and they were tight, but I decided to give them a chance because they were not too tight. After a week of some bag work, and wearing them shadow boxing and light training the fit is perfect. This is another product that blows you away when you see it’s only $25. The design is great for striking and grappling. The open thumb design is great with the closed palm. The triple Velcro wrap gives tons of support so I have not had to think about wrapping the gloves. The straps are completely covered in Velcro so you can get a great fit on your wrist. These also have elastic on the cuffs of the gloves to keep them from moving around on your hand, a great design similar to a weight lifting glove. The printing is good quality and the logo on the strap is a sewed in patch. These are very good gloves, definitely on a $45 level but for almost half that. If you want any specific pictures just let me know.

Gloves knuckles up, notice the strap is all Velcro:

Gloves palm up, again see all the Velcro:

Close-up of thick stitching and high quality leather:

Here is the elastic cuff that helps the glove to stay in place:

wow.. they look awesome... very well made it looks like... i'll have to get these when my sherdog gloves wear out..

is the sizing chart pretty accurate on the website?.. i'm usually a "small" size in every other type of glove (ie, sm lifting gloves=perfect fit, sm sherdog gloves=a little big.... etc), but when measuring the circumference of my knuckles.. according to the truth website i fall under the medium category...

They actually look pretty much like the Sherdog gloves.

The Sherdog gloves are made by a different maker, have slightly less velcro area in the wrist, and do not have either the extra comfort piping around the thumb & palm holes or the seam covers at the ends of the fingers (that feature appeared on Ouanos after Randy's corneal abrasion by Vitor if people recall).

In fact if people remember, both the comfort piping and wider velcro area appeared on Truth gloves before it ever appeared on the current non-open-palm revision of the Ouano UFC gloves. They are eerily similar somehow... for some mysterious reason.....it's like they're brothers somehow....hmmmmmm

the sherdog gloves are inconsistent IMO... i bought 2 pairs (1 blue pair, 1 red pair) and each glove has a different size and shape thumb hole and palm opening.. the finger holes don't have piping and they stretch after a bit of use.. the leather on each glove have different thickness--for example, the leather on one glove would be thinner than the leather on the other.. also, the length and width of the fingers vary as well..

still they're well made a strong... but, once they wear out.. i'm gettin a pair of truths..
