Title "Bananna Bag" from Amazon.com

Howdy all,
Just purchased the filled 6' 100# synthetic leather bag from Amazon. It set me back about $140 shipped. This is a FILLED bag at that price. When compared to the Muay Thai bag I used in my training (in the late 1980's in Atl.) this bag is thicker and not bottom heavy. The filling is a little softer and lighter. I built the stand tonight, but I need to counterweight it before I start whacking it. I am no big puncher or kicker, so I think it will work out fine for me. The seams are all nicely sewed and I am impressed with the quality of the materials and finish given the shipped price. I am not certain it weighs 100# - feels more like 80 or so. Will plop it on a scale in my office to see sometime.

Anyway, for a little guy like me I find it a real steal of a deal. For any serious training, spring for Fairtex or someting similar. For a late 30's out-of-shape doc, I think this will work just fine. Bought the Title MMA glove to go with it. I should have gotten a smaller size, but these will work OK for my purposes.

Interesting... I went to find it again and it is no longer available at that price. I wonder if they lost their a$$ on shipping? I just ordered it last week. It is one long and wide SOB. I worked with it a little at lunch today. It is not overly hard, but it is kinda abrasive on the knees. I guess I'll have to develop a callous again.

Anyway, I guess they are sold out of that style or they jacked the price up. Hope a few others got them before they did so.
