Try "pulling" your upper lip up and over the tray so you're able to get your upper gum impression.

Jeff and I had trouble with that also and had to do a couple molds (and lots of gagging) to get it right.

I believe I finally got my impression right, but it never arrived at Jeff's place. So he is sending a third impression (I screwed up on the first).

Hopefully it works this time and it arrives at Jeff's. No money has been exchanged yet, so I have no reason to doubt his honesty. He has been really helpful throughout the whole ordeal and look forward to seeing the final product!

My impression kit is on the way for me to start the process. It seems to me that a lot of people are having some trouble getting the impression right on the first try. Is there anything other than pulling your upper lip over the tray that I should keep in mind so that I can make sure to get it right on the first try?

Read the directions several times before starting!!! Make sure when you take the mold that you can see the flap of skin that attaches your upper lip in the clay.

With all the postive opinions of Jeff and his product, I'm surprised there hasn't been more input on this thread.

So far in the process he has been very easy to deal with
