Star Guards Custom Mouthguard Review

Service
Where should I start? Starguard’s service is top tier. Since Jeff was local it was easy for me to get in touch with him. Texts and calls were answered or returned promptly. Never did he sound bothered by my questions or requests to meet up unless he already had prior engagements. Even then he would try to find a way to work past it.
I really can not stress how good the customer service with Jeff is. When the first guard was made, Jeff was unhappy with the results and opted to make another one at his cost. The 2nd guard came around and I was unhappy with it cause of some bubbling issues, the issue was brought up to him and he fixed it. He told me to keep the 2nd guard and made an entirely new one for me at his cost because he wanted everything to be picture perfect and that I was 100% satisfied. I was VERY satisfied with the final product and the way he handled everything.

I even got a free tshirt and some tablets to keep the guard clean

Product
Fantastic product. Though all I have to compare Jeff’s guard to is a $2 mouth guard from Sports Authority and an online receipt from Protech. Jeff’s guard is amazing and I look forward to wearing it when I roll or spar. No breathing or gagging issues at all. I’ll keep it in for over an hour without having a need to take it off. I’m able to drink water, talk, scream tap tap tap, with no issues. Highly recommended custom guard.

I'm going through the process with Jeff right now. I should have my putty kit later this week...

Your guard looks great, and I'm sure that Foz appreciates the pic of the guard in your mouth!

The mouthpiece looks great, I am really interested in ordering one myself. I noticed that the website just keeps sending me to their myspace page. Are they not yet selling gaurds to the public, do I need to try to PM Jeff? Or is there maybe a different site I can go to in order to place an order?

PM Jeff. That's what I did and I should be getting my guard in the mail shortly. Great experience with them so far. Jeff is a patient guy.

I have had a few problems (on my end) and Jeff has been incredibly patient with me. First the mold I sent him (from a Protech I bought a year and a half ago) was probably a little off and when i got hte first guard (within 2 weeks of sending the mold) it did not fit correctly at all. He sent me an imression kit and I immediately sent it back but unfortunately I did not do a good job (impression wasn't deep enough) and so I was sent another mold kit. I am hoping to get the new finished product sometime this week.

He also said that if it didn't work out he would refund my money. I really hope it works out cause I would genuinely not feel right having him put in that much time and get nothing for it. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
