I have a pair of these shorts, the rubber is very “sticky” but the shorts do not stick to your own legs. So they will stick to the caught arm, but as the guy caught starts pulling his arm out, the shorts slide off the inside of your own legs until the added pressure is released. It’s the skill of the submissioner not the shorts that win the fight. They are still very high quality shorts. Sprawls are great, but these shorts(In my opinion) will not improve your game. Hope this helps.
