REVIEW: TapouT Red Samurai Board Shorts

Hi guys, Katana here. Still fucking aroudn in America, and I thought what better way to bring something back home than to buy something that is American, such as Tapout. normally I wouldn't wear their stuff because it looks too 'extreme' and the shirts have that death and tribal theme going for it, but because they were offering two free shirts to any products bought over $45 USD, I thought I what the fuck, I might as well buy a pair of shorts. I made the order on Feb 1st, a day before UFC 81, which was when the special was running and I got my order in the mail at Charlotte, North Carolina the following Monday Feb 4th, pretty quick I say. I haven't worn them yet to roll in, but I am immediately impressed with the Samurai theme pics on the shorts, and the material feels smooth and would dry after it has been soaked with sweat. The only problem I have is that the cut of the crotch area seems real high, as I am used to shorts having a low crotch cut like the Sprawls and Truths. You need a groin guard for these I guess. BTW I am a size 30.

FRONT

BACK

CLOSE-UP ON SIDE

CLOSED-VELCRO

OPEN-VELCRO

I think these shorts will probably be my casual walking shorts when I go to Miami, and maybe fighting if I get involved there while I am drunk, hahaha, just joking. they feel great, and I think I look great too instead of wearing the same thing everyday. I believe they are just like any other Tapout shorts, so if you own one, you know what to expect. BTW, when I get back to Australia, I am gonna try and sell my two free shirts to make back the money I spent on those shorts, I am sure there are some suckers back home, LOL!

I thought about buying those because I like how gaudy they are. Then they increased in prince by 20 bux, then Sean Salmon wore those in his last fight and almost died. Cool pics though, glad you like them. I actually have a pair of the Tapout board shorts and I really like them.

I'd be more afraid of the ugly Samurai on those shorts than the guy wearing them xD

While I don't think those shorts are the style I would have picked out, they are sure to draw attention to you when you wear them. So, if that is your thing then good for you.
