Introduction:
We teamed up with Rival Boxing to put the d3o Intelli-Shock Pro Training Headgear through our "trial by fire." This particular headgear is the result of 2 years of evolution and heightened improvements, and Rival Boxing has "worked very closely with a lot of athletes in the boxing world to bring a head gear like no other on the market today." Although people have faith in the d3o technology, there have been a lot of questions in how it fares against other brands, and if it's worth the high price tag. We'll prove Rival Boxing has innovated the hear gear market as we examine the Intelli-Shock Pro head gear's construction, the padding of the d3o technology, and the overall performance. Read the full Rival d3o Intelli-Shock Pro training headgear review, and check out our FIRST video description and comparative test at TrialByFireMMA.com!

I just skimmed through the review, I didn't notice any reference to nose protection. That headgear look like it has a big ole gap. Looks like you could swallow a right easier than a street hookers vagina.

I have a rival headguard, only the RHG60 model, but my vision is impaired when looking up as well. I only box with it on and at times it can be a hinderance even then.

My bad on the nose protection missing. My school teaches a very "face covered" styled for MMA, so my nose is typically covered all the time, but I'm more exposed to bodyshots.
I'll retest this this weekend for nose protection --just to be 100% sure-- and then revise the review. I appreciate you all keeping my on my toes.

I wanted to mention this too. From the pictures it looks like it doesn't offer much protection from a nice straight punch.
