Ron thanks for the offer. It should be fine, and isn't broken per se, just a bit weaker than the other loop. I feel it silly to exchange pants for something that potentially doesn't need any fixing at all, and is best solved by me putting on 15 pounds and sticking a piece of thread into the loop for super duper security against my pants falling off.

I've been meaning to order from Ron ever since I started posting here and have been thwarted each time weather it's winning free Sprawls from a contest negating my need to order SSF shorts or getting a good deal on an atama single weave when I was gonna order a SSF Pro Gi.

But dammit....I feel the need to buy something from the man given his good name.

Perhaps some shockdoctor shorts

Update#2:
ShockDoctors arrived and I was worried because the package was small, but they were safely bundled in the factory packaged plastic box. I ordered a Medium, and it seems to be a great fit. Doing warmups like running aren't that fun with the cup on, but while rolling I forgot I even had anything on until it saved my nuts when I defended a mount attempt that left his knee resting on the cup.
Having my shockdoctors have a removable cup allowed me to at least test fit it into 2 other pairs of super cheap russel shorts with cup pouches, and it should work fine with those when I dont have my ShockDr.'s clean.

Now I just need to learn more BJJ to break closed guards without getting swept, or leaving a single arm in for locks and triangles.
