The pants are another story. Just like the OP, the waist could be tighter. It is like I need an inch or so taken off of each side to make it perfect. The length of the pants is perfect though.
If you dont mind me asking, what is your waiste size and inseam?

How is the collar thickness on the single weave? I am looking for a lightweight gi "to save me when loosing weight" but with a strong collar that will aid in defending chokes.

The collar isnt too thick at all really. Alot of these lightweight gis are going with the rubber inserts in the lapels, which makes them thinner and easier to manipulate.

do you mind giving more details on your comparison to your Fuji gi. I'm thinking of ordering a Fuji and I was curious if I should go with this instead.

Thanks!

I still like it, but I actually wear my Vulkan a lot more since the Vulkan is so damn light and comfortable. The Pearl is still nice and a good buy, but nothing particularly special about it compared to my Koral or my Vulkan. The Vulkan is the lightest, the Koral is the toughest, and the Pearl is right between.

Thanks Bacon, that sums up some questions I have been asking about Vulkans and Pearls.
