Doh, I just responded to your other thread.

I've never tried on the Primetimes, but the general consensus is that they are both similar, top notch gloves.

One big difference is that the CSI gloves have a longer wrist strap (and I love the wrist strap; it gives great wrist support).

The wrist strap looks just as long as the wrist strap on my Primetime gloves. I love the Primetime gloves that I have, but I have never used the CSI gloves.

bump...

Any of you guys using this glove, anything you would change or improve about it now that you've used it for a while? Any part of the glove need reinforcing? The lining is not likely to change, but anything other than that?

to be extremely picky I would say extending the padding on the back of the hand to provide better wrist support and maybe not make them as wide, but it might just be me having longer hands and wearing the larges.

I agree with the gloves being a bit wider than they need to be. It's not that big of a deal, though; kinda more aesthetic than anything else.

Would training striking with these cause a problem ? They look rather small when it comes to the padding, and I was wondering if Id be better of buying the thicker ones, or sticking to boxing gloves ?

"they do look like a primetime rip off "

They arent. What I mean is that something like a half dozen makers make this exact cut/style of glove. No one knows who ripped off who or which factory made it first etc. There are no secrets, no magic, and no "special sauce" in the biz. Most everything comes from Pak and China from a limited number of companies actually doing the manufacturing for CSI, Primetime, Title, KO, etc.

Anyway back to the review - how do these feel when you bend your hand backward, mobility-wise?

These are new and i bought my primetimes like 1.5 years ago so its pretty easy to see which came first.
