I don't like it because you have to use so much to get the desired relief. You could easily spend a ton of money going through this stuff.

I know i have said this before but have you guys ever put this on before rolling or sparring and have it sweat into your eyes? omg it burns lol

Key note... Dont ever put this stuff bedside might mistake it for KY and have a little too much burning sensation lolz

Good review Foz, thanks.

Swelling and pain relief aside, how have you (or those that have used it) found it to affect the speed of healing of contusions and hematomas?

as with what combat kimura said the big thing is it sweating and dripping into someones eyes. It's not an unenjoyable smell by no means but the stuff will sting if u get it near ur nose or eyes. I got a wiff of it on my nose and it made me feel funny for a while.

I've never been hit that hard enough to get a hematoma so I would not know. I will have to try that next time I get one.

I swear by the stuff! I never will use any other pain reliever cream. I have the lavender breeze scent and it's great. I don't have to hear complaints that I smell like medicine and I get to feel relief after a hard workout.

cryogel is good stuff. i am like you Foz, i have to use a good amount to get the cooling effect. however, if you have time to wash the skin with warm/hot water to open the pores, i've noticed a mush better response when doing so. i usually use it after showering up after a workout on my calves and shoulders.

hmmm I will have to try it like that dat1978, its just I like to put it on post-workout then shower and wash it off, but the benefits may be more noticeable when the pores are open. Good thinking.

I'm going to have to check this stuff out. I use ice packs but then it melts and I get lazy to get refill it. I also forget to keep it on the spot that is sore.

cryogel sent me some samples a few months ago and seemed to provide a little relief, I ordered a couple tubes today hopefully it will give me some relief for my jacked up neck.
