rashguards.com

I've been in need of a few low cost rashguards for training, so I did a bit of googling and found the following.

http://rashguards.com/

As you can see in the picture below, I ordered a solid silver, solid white, and a black w/ white down the sides. The order was placed Wednesday night and they arrived today -- super fast! I haven't rolled in them yet, but my initial impression is that these are going to be great guards, especially for the money -- $20 for a solid and $21 for the two color. The material feels really durable and the contrast stitching is heavy flat lock and looks great. The collars are on the low side, which was one of my prerequisites since I hate the feeling of the higher collars. I'm not a huge fan of graphics, either, so these fit the bill perfectly.

I wasn't too sure how to order via the web so I sent an email and got a response within roughly sixteen seconds saying to call the toll free number. I can't remember the name of the guy I talked to sure (I think it was Mike), but he was super friendly and ordering was a breeze.

If anyone decides to try these out, pay special attention to their sizing guidelines. I weigh about 218 and the 3X fits great on me (recommended for 205-25 lbs.).

I know a couple of companies that buy from them and just silk a logo on them. They are of good quality but are a little on the hot side but for the money they are really nice.

Here is another company that some fight gear companies use;

Is there a market for solid color none logo RG?

i'm pretty sure there is as long as there is a significant price difference between the plain ones and the ones with logos...

me personally.. if i had the choice of paying $15 or less for a logo-less RG.. or a $25 for one with a logo.... if i *really* liked the design, or if i wanted to support the brand.. i'd buy 1 of the logo'd ones and buy a few plain ones.....

but that's just me... and this scenario assumes i have a bunch of disposable income.. lol

Interesting you mention that -- the weight and ability to keep cool is the one thing I was curious to find out about. The material is fairly heavy, about like the Sprawl loose fit... much heavier than the XF Gear RG's, for instance, but hey, I've been training mostly w/ a gi lately, so I'm used to the heat by now.

By the way, thanks for ZeroGear's contact info... I found these right after I PM'd you and remembered them as the same guards ZeroGear was selling so I went ahead and ordered them.

Those look nice, too, Ron, but there's my collar issue popping up again. I know most people like the high collars, so I understand why so many companies have them made that way.

Personally, I would always prefer a RG w/ minimal or no logos. Yours are nice and a couple others are fairly low profile, but so many brands like to make them as obnoxious as possible.

I love RG's with very little logo on them. Its good to put your name on your product, but not overly doing it, but thats just my 2 cents. I would love a RG with a small logo in the middle of your shoulders on the back. That would be perfect in my opinion, and maybe another small logo on the front.

any chance you own any full contact fighter rashguards? if so are the sizes exactly the same? this place seems to size a size smaller than normal.

I'd like a smaller/no logo RG if it made it cheaper.

What are some of the better "keeps ya cool" rashguards on the market.

I was looking at that Nogi RG from MMamuscle...does anyone have experience with that one?

People I train with use those long sleeve compression shirts (rashguards) from nike. They say it does a great job at keeping them cool. ONe of my friends rashguard alreeady tore though around the armpit area. I don't know if the other guy grabbed his rashguard or if his arm or soemthing got caught in it, but I don't think a good rashguard should rip like that.
