SSF fighter Anthony Stevens has a Pythonguard on in his fight at the XFC in Knoxville TN. It should be air on HDnet soon. His is red/white/blue. On this same card a guy was wearing a boil and bite and got KO. His guard went flying out of his mouth. There is no way a custom guard like the Python could do that. I can't believe Pro fighters still us BnB guards.

I too am in shock when I see a guy in the UFC with a double guard, or Karo with his mg hanging out of his mouth and repeatedly falling out. After using a custom I just cannot fathom doing anything with a boil n bite.

Hey Scott,

How deep into the guard should the lower bite go? Just enough to grip a bit when you bite down, or should it be even deeper?

Just wanted to bump up another thread regarding Scott's great service.

I am very happy with my dealings with Scott. I would without a doubt recommend him to all my friends who are in the market for a custom. Everything mentioned in this thread is spot on. You will definitely NOT regret working with Scott.

My experience with Scott:

Thank You to Scott Patterson @ Python Guards

I'd also like to know about the lower bite...I just received my custom guard from customguards.com (sorry Scott, but I didn't know about python until today when I read this review).

Anyway, mine doesn't have the lower bite and I'm wondering at this point if I can somehow get my teeth to mold on the bottom a little or am I Sh*t of out luck, so to speak?

I just notice that when I clinch my mouth shut hard my jaw doesn't seem as tightly closed...wondering how this will effect my face getting punched.

Please advise if you would, even though I didn't purchase from you.
PS: I will purchase from you for my next custom guard.
