Ouano A2 Gi**

I have just purchased a Ouano A2 gi (white) as a second Gi. What a great gi for the money! The quality is great and I like the fact that it is super plain and in turn can be patched up nicely with your school patch etc.

I own a Gameness Gi and its great as well...The only downfall personally with it is the thickness.....which makes it really hot in the summer! The Ouano seems much lighter and will be much nicer to train in the hot weather.

Looking foreword to seeing how it holds up over the summer months. Ill keep you posted.

Any commnets on the Ouano gis?

Sorry Ill get a pic up or you can visit there website (google it)....

As far as the material...Its got a nice thick lapel with a nice lightweight but strong weave. Also its a single piece of material running through the back(not having the seam down the spine of your back)....The gameness gi I own has this and it can be uncomfortable at times.

The pants are great quality as far as the thickness and has a draw string support. Very comfortable and a good weight. I like to wear a jock whenever I roll and it def has a good crotch area for supporting movement etc.

Again Im not big on wearing Gi's that are factory pacthed up and hyping a company up. So its nice to have a great plain white gi that has great quality.

It also is offered in Blue. The white Gi only has a small embroidered Ouano symbol on the left shoulder.

Hope this helps

A couple of questions:
1 how tall are you?
2 what's your weight?
3 how does the git fit (loose, snug)?
4 have you washed the gi and if so did it shrink?

I also like the Ouano but don't know what size to pick.

I also like the Ouano but don't know what size to pick.

1- I am 5'9
2- 185 lbs
3- Gi fits perfect (had trouble with my gameness b.c i have wide shoulders and it fit snug) The Ouano Gi fits excellent in this area
4- Washed and did not shrink.

I never dry the Gi top..only the pants! Whats your size?? these seem to fit a little larger than most other companies

If you're 185 I might consider getting an A1 then. Especially if an A2 is pretty big for you. A problem I have with listening to people's opinions on how a gi fits is that it's totally relative. Can we get a pic or something on how the gi looks on you? That would totally give us a much better idea on what size to get.Thanks.

Sorry man I havent been able to get a pic up..Ill do my best to get one up. The A2 isnt REALLy big on me but does give me more room than some other A2 gis' (such as gameness)

whats you size?

I got my gi onliine at mmaniagara.com They have great customer service and I know for a fact they have them in stock. they ship anywhere I think so its all good if your from the U.S or Canada.

I hope to get a pic up so you can see the fit
