I weighed these shorts vs. my Sprawls, and the Truths were about 3oz (or ~30%) heavier than the Sprawls. Not sure you can feel that while rolling, but it's very noticeable when just holding them.

I dunno...I'm weird...I own the Truth v.2.0's and I like the "heavier" feel of the fabric. I automatically equate "kinda rougher, kinda heavier" with "more durable", which Truth v.2.0's def. are.
I just received the new "Urban camo Truths v.3.0" and apparently it's some slightly elastic lighter better wicking fiber or something...we'll see how it goes...

I've mentioned mine before. The velcro is a very big issue...I've gotten to the point that I don't undo the velcro, I just suck it in and slide them on. If I undo the velcro, it's guaranteed it'll catch the drawstring and anything within a 2 mile radius. My first pair started to 'pick' real bad, almost like a cheap pair of swimming trunks. At first I thought I had caught the velcro on an area and not noticed, but the entire pair of pants started to do it.
Thankfully, they sent me a new pair free of charge. Was pretty awesome of them. Sadly, while I love the look of the white ones, they're doing the exact same thing.
The shorts are good to roll in and look great, but don't expect a long durability time out of them. At least, that's my opinion.

Krossinc, that's exactly what I'm finding out as well, I basically only wear my Truths when ALL my other shorts are dirty. They're my backup shorts now.

Once the shorts are ON, they're fine -- they're beefy, comfortable, etc. I have no problem with them for actually rolling. But taking them off or putting them on is aggravating because that velcro seriously traps everything within a five mile radius, they're like a goddamn black hole of fabric. The drawstrings are totally being picked apart already and they've been worn a whopping 3 times.
But again, for $25 they're decent, but at that point I'm wondering if $15 Target board shorts aren't an even better deal.

I've probably worn my pair 40 times now. The entire non-stretch panel portion of the short is slightly faded since initial purchase, or appears to be so. The fabric of this portion is worn in unique fashion for a boardshort--it basically looks like an old pair of sweatpants. When the velcro makes contact, it tears the fabric on an aesthetic level, leaving it frayed. The wash cycle is also a likely culprit.
That said, these shorts are great for rolling and have an attractive price. The stitching quality is superior to costlier brands. There is no way that these shorts will be unusable provided anything within the realm of normal use is maintained.
I would definitely recommend these shorts. Someone who is concerned with keeping the good looks of the original purchase will have to be careful with the velcro, especially keeping it secured when washing.
