Muay Thai Gloves/Shin Pads Help

Alright here is the scoop, I need thai gloves (14 oz) and shin pads. I want top of the line so lets see what you guys suggest.

I was looking at these fairtex gloves Fairtex - Training Gloves w/ Nation Print but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Fairtex does have the reputation for being top of the line for thai-brand gloves. But do you mind telling us what you plan on using the gloves for. Heavy bag, pads, sparring? etc..

get hayabusa shinguards. i love 'em. i bought them from riofightwear.com. GREAT customer service too. they answered all my questions fast as hell.

everyone says the best gloves available are winning but i am not baller enough to personally attest to it.

I have the king shinpads and they are the best i have ever worn or seen anybody use i highly recommend them.
