Sprawl V-Flex XT VS. CageWalk Pro-Lite

I'm partial to white shorts. Ive had the Sprawls about 2 months and have washed them about 10 times. As you can see by comparison they look a little dingy against the brand new Cage Walks. The Walks seemed really plain, but I like the simplicity. The Sprawls let you know they are Sprawls about 8 times. The material on the Walks seemed a little more breathable (press lips to material and breathe through). I really like the satin inside finish of Sprawls and didn't really notice the mesh lining on the Walks. The Sprawls felt heavier and more durable, but the weight could be from all the embroidery work on them. The enclosure systems were basically identical. I have noticed the drawstring on my Sprawls get stuck on the Velcro, which could be fixed if they used a less fuzzy draw-string, I expect the Walks to have the same problem.

As you can see the Walks are almost an inch longer. I'm 6'2" so length is never really a concern. I ordered mediums in both brands and fitting was almost identical. I did notice the elastic in the Sprawls seemed a little stiffer which I did like more.

I do have larger thighs and I noticed the extra room the Sprawls gave. As you can see they are almost an inch wider which translate to 2 more inches in circumference. The Walks did seem a little constricting in my legs, almost a little too straight legged.

Conclusion: I got 2 pairs of Cage Walks for ~$40 and one pair of Sprawls ~52 shipped, I ordered both products directly from the companies and the Cage Walks did arrive almost a week faster than the Sprawls not sure if that was a fluke or what. I would lean toward the Walks because I'm cheap and the Sprawls are not twice as good to justify twice the price. If Cage Walk widened the legs a bit they would be hard to beat. I also like that they don't have their name all over the product. If you want any specific comparison shots let me know.
