I decided to get this one because of this thread. The free shipping won me over.

Heres the pictures I took a few minutes ago. I meant to do it earlier but we had a smoker and stuff. This is what the headgear looks like and I hope you guys get an idea of how rugged and solid this headgear is.

Hey Clamp, you said the headgear fits your big ass dome but do you think it can fit smaller heads? If you do really have a Tito-esque head, my head would be much smaller than yours and I'm afraid the headgear won't fit right and move around a lot.

Another question. If you have used other brands, how does the KOfightgear headgear compare to other more pricey high end stuff? Maybe I'm being stupid but I feel its almost too cheap to be true. The price is really enticing but I'd rather spend more money and get something real high quality.

It will fit your head for sure man, its really adjustable and the headgear is great quality. it's really on par with the Fightgear headguards. The foam padding is thick and protective, to me it's a good guard for the price. I don't think you'll be dissapointed.

I've had Casanova headguards, Fightgear bomber headguards, Pro headguards. This is just as good as they are. I actually gave the Casanova's to Neil as a gift.

I got this a few weeks ago. Been too lazy to do my reviews since I bought so much crap lately, haha.

However, this headgear is a very nice upgrade from the cheap-o Everlast one I had from Academy Sport Store. It is much thicker and sturdier. The padding is somewhat stiff though, which I suppose can be a good and bad thing at the same time. It's definitely heavier though.

Sparring wise, it felt very tight and comfortable (I suppose proportional to the human head would be a nice way to describe it). Perhaps I didn't tighten it much, but after a few rounds and insane amounts of sweating it did get slightly loose from a few of direct punches (which is a lot better than what I had before...that Everlast headgear would just go 180 on me after every other punch). So far, looks just as good as new like Clamp described. I really like the leather material, top grade stuff.

The other thing though, I am not sure how it would fit too well on a smaller guy. My friend is quite a small guy though...5'5-ish at 109lbs/5% BF. It looked quite awkward on him...cause he got that slender almond fox-like face too. He used it a few times and said he liked it a lot more than other things he used, though I'm not sure how the fit was on him. It just looked like it was too heavy for his pencil neck...
