I've worn them to class twice this week:

- Monday, we did bag work, partner drills, and some heavy sparring after class
- Wednesday (yesterday), we just did partner drills and light sparring...then I went and did some light bag work after class

People asked about my gloves after class and asked where I got them; let me tell you, they were completely blown away when I told them they only cost $35.00 AND that they were real leather (not like the crappy synthetic leather "Pro Force" gloves that they sell at our gym, which look very similar to the KO's)...that aside, no real complaints from anybody...even when I asked if it hurt any more or less than my other gloves when they got tagged and nobody really noticed a difference. When they break in, maybe it'll be a different story, but as of now, no big deal...

I like these better than my Ringsides thusfar, because they're a lot more snug and the cuff, while not very long (which I like) is just a tiny bit longer (probably half inch or so) and a bit more thickly padded than my Ringsides; so they give more support when I'm hitting pads and the bag, but the cuff isn't so long that it feels like I'm wearing a freaking sleeve (like "American style" gloves)...

One thing I really noticed is that when I was doing partner drills and "feeding" my partner as if I was holding a focus mitt, I felt the impact of their punches a LOT less; which would imply they absorb more shock than I'm used to...which is, of course, a good thing...less wear/tear on my joints never hurts, ya know?

All in all, I really like the gloves. I noticed because they're a bit more compact/dense, my offense was a little more effective this week than when I spar with the slightly larger Ringsides. Obviously, on the other hand, I got tagged a little more here and there because punches would either slip through or hooks would connect that would normally get covered up with the extra inch or so from my Ringsides....good times, good times...it'll just take adjustment...

Either way, this is just really preliminary review. What I plan on doing is rotating use each week to get the most out of the two pair of gloves I own. I'll have to update in a couple months with comments about durability...

Dollar for dollar, I'd recommend these gloves to anybody. In terms of comfort, price, and CUSTOMER SERVICE alone (not to mention quality/durability, which shall be told in a few months of regular use)...these are in a class of their own.

9/10 (because I don't believe in giving perfect scores on anything)

*edit* Forgot to add, that I haven't yet worked clinching with these gloves yet, so I can't comment about that either. I'll also update in due time with how they compare to my Ringsides in terms of hand flexibility and whatnot when we actually clinch...

Perfect, thats a great review, thanks for the help. I'm definitely considering buying these. I do Muay thai, so your input on how they are in the clinch will be helpful.

Again, thanks for taking the time to fill us in on these.

Why don't you buy a pair, use them for a month or so, then give us your review of how bad they are?

I havent actually felt them or anything so I cant really talk but i decided to post this anyway?
In your "expert" judgement you think the KO Fightgear gloves look "shitty", my point was your judegement doesnt have any merit in this conversation. I could write a review on something i have seen pictures of but it wouldn't be a very good review. I just pointed out that your comment shouldn't be taken seriously. Even you probably agree, you just wrote it because thats what you first thought, which is fine I guess, but this is a serious review section. People are gonna decide whether or not to buy products after reading this forum, and your comment doesnt really have much merit.
I hope we can still be friends, I would hate to lose a friendship over this,

Ok, serious question here...but like...WHY do you need that many pair of gloves...? People rag on me because I insist on owning two...

That said, Perro...I can agree that giving judgement on a product without actually using them is a bit pre-mature...

Furthermore...since you do own MANY MANY gloves (more than most of us will own in our lifetime)...can you give us some reviews of which you feel are the "best" and why?:
- "value for money"
- "durability"
- "best bag glove"
- "best training glove"
- "best sparring glove"
- anything else you can think of...

I only give reviews on products that I've used and compare them to other products that I've used because that's the only frame of reference I have. I'd really like to hear somebody's opinion who's used THAT many products because I'd respect what you have to say; afterall experience is the best teacher...

Thanks for the input, all...let's try to keep these reviews civil and keep discussion in the spirit of the G&E forum...let's not turn this into a "my dick is bigger than yours" contest based upon how many gloves we own...

notice the keyword "LOOKS" I said they LOOK shitty cause I was going off the LOOKS, then I said I havent actually used them so I cant cant comment on the quality. What the hells your problem. If I came on here sayin they suck without usin them then throw your tantrum, I stated my opinion that based on looks they look shitty compared to the other gloves Ive seen.
