Just placed an order for the gloves and handwraps. Just a reminder to everyone today is the last day to get 10% off sparring gear and free shipping. Take advantage of it if you need new sparring equipment.

I can't say enough good things about KO, I've been using their gear FOR YEARS!!! and I've never had a problem. The Thai bag has hung in a pro boxing gym for well over 2 years, getting hit for hours and hours a day and kicked for 2-4 hours a day. No rips, tears, no problems with this bag ever!

I'll stand behind their equipment 100%.

Hi...I'd like to introduce myself...My name's Chris...and I'm an addict to good deals on gear...

*everybody chimes in* "HI CHRIS!"

My buddy has just started training some rudimentary Muay Thai with me...we're old friends from TKD and I've since taken up Muay Thai, while he still holds the TKD flag high...and after a sparring session of MT rules, he's FINALLY convinced that TKD doesn't cut it as a well-rounded stand-up art...

...so I have two pair of gloves...one of those shit ass blue Everlast ones and a pair of Ringside Universal Training gloves; which I use for bag gloves and sparring/training gloves, respectively...I let my buddy wear my blue ones when we train...

...and last week I saw KO Fightgear had their gloves on sale...and KO Fightgear has very well-reviewed equipment...so my rationalization for getting them, "Ewww...Alan wore my blue ones and sweated in them...obviously I NEED new gloves!"

So yeah...I'm awaiting the arrival of my 16 oz. KO Fightgear gloves (which should be tomorrow)...and I'm excited...and I have a an addiction..........with spending money on good stuff...

Thanks for the reviews, guys...

these are bag gloves. Not training gloves. I bought them thinking I would using them at my boxing gym during rounds but they were too hard, so they had to become my new bag gloves.
Training gloves have extra padding and are softer, making it safe to use in sparring. If you think these are training gloves, you have never used training gloves. I honestly wouldn't have bought these if I knew that.

Shipping was super-fast; Ordered last Friday, processed, shipped, and received within 6 days...and I like the personal touches Neil included in his e-mails and sticky notes on the invoice; personal thank you's and he asks for us to "spread the word"...great customer service and when I'm in the market for new shin pads, I know where to be going (well...KOfightgear or CSI...whichever price I can find better)...

Anyways, as I said, I just got a pair of 16 oz. gloves. I tried them on and they fight REALLY snug; which I like...but I can imagine it being super-tight for people with "large" hands, as mine aren't all that big (average sized for people of my size/stature). The gloves are also kinda "premolded" a bit better than other gloves I've worn.

I really like how sleek and compact they are...I compared them to my Ringside training gloves (both pair are 16 oz.) and the KO's are noticibly smaller (in width AND length) than the Ringsides......which would imply the foam is more dense (which would explain why the above poster feels they are better suited for bag gloves). Once again, I will have to wait until training to ask my training partners how they feel when we spar at Monday's class.

Can't wait to use them!

Vu is correct about the snug feel and the gloves being premolded. I like that about these gloves. Mine are still in great shape after 2 months of bag work, so although I didnt get what I intended to get, they turned out to be a very good set of bag gloves.

I bought a pair about a month ago and I love them. I have little hands so these fit great for me. If you have big hands you might want to email them before you buy. I don't think these gloves are that hard... i use them for sparring and everyone says them are fine. The premolding makes it a little harder to open the gloves for clinching (in Muay Thai). I would definitely recommend them for the price and quality.

I'm eagerly awaiting your review for these in regards to sparring.
