KO FIGHTGEAR Gloves+Shinguard review

First off, before I say anything, Neil at KO Fightgear is outstanding with customer service. He was friendly and very helpful during the ordering and shipping process. My check got lost in the mail (or rather I forgot to put a stamp, stupid me) and I needed the gear before my first sparring class for Muay Thai. He sends me the gear trusting that the check will come in. What a guy. If thats not dedication to customer satsifaction, I dont know what is.

Gloves - 5 out of 5

The only other gloves I've tried were the Blue Everlast Training gloves but I can decisively say that these are superior. The glove itself is made from 100% genuine leather and is very very solid. The stitching (pic 3) is done very well and Im sure it'll stand up to whatever you can offer. I couldnt be happier. Especially for the price of 30.00 with free shipping!

The Shinguards- 5/5

These things are TOUGH. The construction is very solid and the padding abosrbs enourmous amounts of impact. Kicking my bag was lovely. The best thing about the shinguards are the ease with which they can be put on or taken off. The instep has elsastic under it and the straps hold to your lower leg really well. The back is made of a canvas type material and is both breathable and comfortable. At 45.00 these pads are a very good buy.

I also bought ankle supports and hand wraps at KO but these are practically the same everywhere and therefore not worth reviewing. They are great though.

All in all, KOF has a great line of products and I highly recommend considering them when looking to buy new gear. Their site is www.KOFIGHTGEAR.com. Peace!

I love my KO Fightgear sparring gloves and shin guards; the shinguards always stay in place during sparring too, and don't constantly get loose or have to be adjusted

They're made right here in the U.S of A bud.

Are you KO glove Thai glove cuz they look like boxing glove?

They're general purpose gloves and good for all striking arts. I know for a fact though that KO is coming out with speacialized gloves later on in the year but these do the job for anything u engage in.

If you guys have more questions you can ask me or send Neil an Email at info@kofightgear.com

are they sparring/training gloves? Or Competition? Can anyone compare these to Ringside or CSI training gloves?

(CORRECTION) Looks good, what country is the glove and Shinguards being made from?

Whoops! The sparring gear is made in Pakistan but KO makes several of their products here, like the banana bags.

are they sparring/training gloves? Or Competition? Can anyone compare these to Ringside or CSI training gloves?

These are sparring/training gloves.
