Protech Bnb Review..the Official First One!

First, i apologized to tom many times but i will do it again. It was my mistake for getting inpatient and thinking that i was being ignored and not getting anything and etc. Sorry again.

Now, onto the review.

The original thread
mouthguard problem, feel like barfing

Ok, so i could not keep my mouthguard in my mouth for more then 45 seconds to a minute. Tom was quick to respond and we talked about his new bnb that he thought would solve the problem.

The mouthguard
Size- The size is good, it is thinner then my shockdoctor. This helps lower the gag reflex in my opinion since there is more room for you to move your tounge around and your tounge doesnt have to touch the rubber all the time.

Comfortability-I boiled it twice and it is almost perfect. I think the third time i do it then it will be perfect but as of now i feel comfortable to use it in training. However bjj is closed thursday-saturday so i will get to roll on tuesday, updating this thread. Upon reviewing it closer, i noticed that my front index teeth were indented a little less then my back teeth which is not causing it to be 100 percent perfect. As i said, third time i will press a little harder and get it perfect.

Gag reflex- I think my "gag" reflex is all mental. Basically i can throw up on command really. When the protech was in my mouth at first, i honestly felt it again but MUCH less then from the shockdoctor. However, when i put it in my mouth and sat down and didnt think that it was in my mouth then it was not a problem and i forgot i was even wearing it(unlike the shockdoctor)

Looks- It looks awesome, I cant wait to see what my training partners will say when they see it. It is not too flashy and is very slick looking. Please see below for pics. Tom deffinetely put in work on it and it shows, top of the line product in looks alone.

Complaints- Very minimal. The guard is pretty thin so if you are not careful it is possible to bite through it, and it is written to be careful in the instructions. Other then that i have very little complaints, the fit could be a tad better(im not sure if the mouthguard is supposed to hold up even if you open your mouth with the mouthguard still in it) but then again this is a BNB.

Score- 9.7/10
This mouthguard is about as close to perfect as it seems in my opinion, but i was informed by tom that he is making some changes to it. So then how can it be perfect if it has yet to be perfected? This is much better then the shockdocter, both in looks and in comfortability. i believe this will be the perfect mouthguard for

-Those like me with a gag reflex
-Those on a lower budget but still want a top of the line mouthguard
-Actual smart people

Pics

Please excuse me, i have not shaved in a week, have my guido hairdo going on and i got my slick $500 dollar prada sunglasses going on. It also took me about 22 minutes to get the goatee and the mustache perfect for the picture. Also, i have no shirt on so please keep young children out of this thread...YES YOU!

All jokes aside, you see how this looks in my mouth. Not too flashy screaming that im some bad ass bjj fighter but not too plain either. Perfect balance.

Now, comparison to my shockdoctor.

***you can see that it is longer and thinner then the shockdoctor*****

Back in reserve. I'm still perfecting these guards. I will have many different versions in more ways than you can think of. You can contact me at PROTECHMOUTHGUARDS@HOTMAIL.COM for info.

I can't wait to get my hands on one of these. Being a poor college student I can't afford a custom so this is the next best thing.
