Vulkan Yellow Summer Kimono from http://www.jiujitsuprogear.com/

Store: http://www.jiujitsuprogear.com/

Good service, gilbert is the man, though a bit of problems at first with shipping costs, he handled them well, many thanks Gilberto, when I order another gi (probly a vulkan blue or white, it will be with you)

onto the review. As most know, I am out from training for a month, or more with a wrist injury. I havent gotten to train in this gi yet, just shrunk it down as of such.

Before shrinking, on my bed

Illegal pants before shrinking zomg

BEFORE shrinking arms stretched out so you get an idea how much it shrinks

BEFORE shrinking arms by side

AFTER shrinking

After shrinking arms by side

I am 5'11 (183)cm, 170lbs (77kg, though around 78-79kg when i cant lift lately). This is a Vulkan A2.

For shrinking I merely did a normal delicate cycle in hot wash. Did not need to do it in the dryer at all. It shrunk ALOT as you can see.

Hope this helps all that are curious.

worthy of note by the way, this thing, is so freaking light. I thought my pearl was light. The vulkan is much lighter from first impressions. It's a different kind of weave obviously. It feels alot 'smoother' if that makes sense.

Not sure how the durability is obviously, but Soid and MattyD were convincing enough on it's quality.

ps: remember to wash your gi's in vinegar to colour set them.

This may sound dumb, but do you mean add vinegar to the wash cycle, hand wash, or let it soak in vinegar for a few hours? I have heard about using it to set color but never heard it explained.

I never bothered to set the color of my blue Koral with vinegar. My friend just got same one a few weeks ago (Christmas present) and the colors looks the same as my one 1 year old gi.

Vulcan really is so light and I have had mine since Sept and it has held up great and I wash and dry it every time.
