lol -- I'm even starting to get confused.

I don't think that it really fits the guy in red though--I believe the lapels are supposed to close hip to hip, but they aren't for him.

It would be interesting if someone else with an A3 could measure their gi and see if they come out with the same measurements I did... Maybe Keiko gis cuts aren't consistent?

He seemed to have more room in the shoulders then I thought he would (Big Boy)

For what it is worth I compared your measurements to my A2 Atama Ultra-Lite top..the new one.

Washed in cold water many times and hang dry and they were EXACTLY the same

That top fits me perfect..again I am 6 2 and a lean 190

So I would think A3 shrunken to fit Keiko will work

Have you tried it on yet? What was your opinion?

im 5'11" and 220 lbs. ive got a lean broad build. im aware the keikos are for slimmer builds, but i really like the design and guys in my gym say its worked out real well for them. would the a3 be too small or should i go for an a4 and shrink it a bit???

Hrm... An A4 might fit better in the jacket, though the pants may be a bit long. How do the measurements compare to your gis? Add probably two inches all around to my measurements and that should give you a rough idea of how a shrunk A4 would look.

Picked up a Keiko Limited the other day at Keikosports in Long Island City, NY, great place w/ lots of inventory. I am 6'1", 32"w, 200lbs and got an A4 top and A3 pants as the A4 pants were enormous. Did the initial wash/dry shrink and it fits great. Hope that helps someone w/ sizing.

I'm 5'10" and I have the a2. It fit perfect out of the bag and has stayed the same through many washes. I think the a4 pants would be huge on you. Not too sure the a3 top would fit you well though. You should see if you can do an a4 top with a3 pants.
