Jawzz Mouthguard review, Pics

The review will be short:
1.) Ordered mouthguard, kit came quickly
2.) Received mouthguard roughly 6 weeks later
3.) Mouthguard looks great, fits tightly, and is very comfortable. Very nice work!
4.) Without being asked, they did extra logo work on the underside of the guard. That was a very nice, and appreciated, extra effort.
5.) All in all, a good experience, I'd order from them again.

Only con: expensive. $195. Cost didn't matter to me, as I had "use it or lose" it health savings account money. (Don't get me started on how frigging stupid I think the law is that makes that necessary). Had I not spent big, that money would have reverted back to my wife's employer, and frankly, eff that.

Ordered from Jawzz custom mouthguards.

I really like the idea of the bottom logo. That way when they are laying on the mat and your laughing they can see it.

Jawz

Jaws the website advertises that they are the mouthguard used in the ultimate fighter.

When I seen that all kind of red flags went up. Because of that cat that was on the ultimate fighter who got all his top grill knocked was wearing this mouthguard.

Besides that, nice mouthguard its a bad muthaphucka

The guy who got 4 teeth knocked out, Frank Lester, had 4 false front teeth from a childhood injury.

"In post-fight interviews, Lester reveals that, as a kid, his four front, top teeth were knocked out and replaced with false teeth. After the match, in the dressing room area, it is shown that Lester coughs up another tooth."
The Ultimate Fighter: United States vs. United Kingdom - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

That's not the mouthguard's fault--that's a hazard of having false teeth and participating in contact sports. One of my training partners has a false front tooth, I've seen it get knocked out in a friendly rolling session.

Again, because I had "use it or lose it" money in my health savings account, I ordered 2 mouthguards. This is what the second one looks like:

FYI, my MT gym's colors are pink, black and yellow.

Nice guards. I keep hearing great things about this company, but have no experience with them (I went with Python). I like the designs though.
