It sucks because they only have medium, and I wear XL. However some of the posts say it runs big, but I dont think I can fit the medium. I dont know what to do.

Any updates?

Any news on this item? Its been sitting in my budovideos shopping cart for several months now and I just can't seem to pull the trigger without sufficient user feedback.

I got this great item back in January... really love it, and Hayabusa was very good in customerservice (I dealt with them). One minor issue I had was they didn't have any good size descriptions then (which they have now).

The jacket is of rather loose build and should probably fit "bulky" people well. To my tall slender frame it isn't quite a fit.

I was advised to wash it and throw it in the dryer - which I did, and then it shrunk. It suits me fine around the chest now, but it's a bit short in the sleeve... I really would recommend anyone wanting this to get the correct size of the bat. Washing and tumble drying isn't recommended IMO... there's some ripstop material on the arms and chest that doesn't shrink as much as the gi material and thus it wrinkles a bit, and it greys a bit aswell.

One thing I didn't "notice" on the pics was how "bulky" the hood is... somewhere in my mind I think it maybe would look nicer without it. Again though, since I'm tall and slender and "shrunk it" the hood doesn't really fit me that well, it's extremely tight so it just winds up hanging on my back.

By tall and slender I mean 6'2'' and 175lbs. Hayabusa recommended the large to me, which as I said was a bit "roomy" for my likes, and about a 1/4 inch too long in the arm... after shrinking it's now about 1/3 inch too short so washers beware

Maybe I sound overly negative... but I really love the jacket and it's "unique" here which I kind of like ;)

There's also this thread if you missed it...

^ good review. I'm a little bigger than you but tall and lean so it would likely fit me the same way as well.

It would be nice if they made a more fitted/athletic cut version without the hood. I'd buy that, but I'm going to pass on the current product.

I was contemplating buying one but I was afraid of spending $150 and then hating it.
