Hayabusa Fightwear review

So I received my product and tried it out, so here's what I think of it.

I bought a Hayabusa Fightwear Carbon Elite rashguard. In the past, I've only owned Atama rashguards, and I consider myself an Atama Whore. So...

The Carbon Elite is a whopping $64.00 CDN. That is super-expensive for a rashguard. So, is it worth it?

The customer service is unbelievable. If you have a question, one of their representitives will immediately respond. I wasn't sure of the sizing, so I emailed them and ordered a medium. They informed me I would be a small, and they switched the order. The shipment was apperantly delayed (still received the product in record time), so they included a complimentry Hayabusa Fightwear t-shirt. Very nice.

Upon receiving the rashguard, I noticed that it's extremely soft and flexible. It makes an Atama rashguard feel like sandpaper. It looked very small initially, but I tried it on and it fit beyond perfect.

Grappling with it, you never feel wet with sweat, and it breathes as if you wore no shirt at all, but your muscles stay warm so that they remain working. In addition, the rashguard stays against your skin, so rarely, if ever, does the rashguard slide up, or bunch into a ball while sparring.

I've worn it through several 2-hour Brazilian Jiu Jitsu sessions and it's held up very nicely, and continues to impress. At this point, I see absolutely no flaws or problems with the rashguard, besides the price. After wearing it, however, I would purchase from Hayabusa, and I plan to. The Carbon Elite costs more than the average rashguard, but the quality is head-and-shoulders above any rashguard I've worn.

I'm not sure about how long the rashguard may last under the intense conditions that I train under, but if the apperant quality is true, I imagine it will last for a very long time.

Rating: 96/100

Nice.

So they truly are the world's most advanced rashguards.

Why only 96/100?

Sounds like a good rashie, but way too expensive.

I would like to see some pics. Have you ever used an XFGear RG Commissar? That is pretty much the standard imo for rg's and I was wondering how it measured up.

www.hayabusafightwear.com if you want pictures and information. I can't do pics until I get my digital camera up and running again...

I've only ever used Atama rashguards before, so I'm comparing Hayabusa to Atama only.

I rated it 'only' 96/100 because of the price, Everything else was phenomenal - and I believe it to be worth the price.

Ah, I see.

Is the logo silk screened? Does it look like it will peel?

The logo's well done. It don't think it's embroidered into the material itself, but I don't see it peeling at all. It's a very well-made rashguard. I doubt I'd use anything else.

Awesome. Sounds like a great product.
I'd like to check those out, as well as the XF Gear rashies.
