The Green Gi

I recently came across this gi and I am dying to try it out. I would personally go buy a digital camera so I could write a review for it. You guys might be interested in it. Check it out, thegreengi.com, I dont work for them, I just love having gis and want to try one out. Plus I would like to give back to you all for the amazing equipment reviews that so many of you do so well.

i hope being "green" doesnt give them an excuse to sell these kimonos at $170 + or something crazy

whats most important is the kimono fits right, reasonably priced and is good for training! other than that I dont care about it being "Green"

When they say green it makes people think they are saving the environment. What they really mean when they say green is all the green that is going into their pockets when people buy thinking they are saving the environment!

I agree, although i only want to try a hemp gi. I know there is the datsusara gi but its cut a little like a judo gi, and they don't have my size, although the price looks good. We never heard anything about the Ground Force gis again either. I just want to try a hemp gi. What would be really cool is if HCK came out with a hemp gi, that's my favorite gi. Plus Howard has awesome prices. $60 for an unbleached gi, thats amazing considering the quality surpasses most other gis on the market. No offense to the other gi vendors.

I actually know the creator. She is a blue belt world champion that trains at Yamasaki Academy. This will be a great product from what I've heard. I don't think they have any models just yet, but there is a lot of hype around it.
