Grant Gloves anyone?

I'm in need of new gloves after the leather on my Winnings ripped, after sparring with Reyes for the past week my sparring partner is not too happy. Anyways I was wondering if anyone has Grant Pro Training gloves, (not the campeons) and if so would you care to give me a review and possibly some pictures?

From what I've read the training gloves are very hard and stiff but the bag gloves are absolutely top of the line.

I haven't tried any of them myself (only read reviews/feedback) but based on my experience with my Campeon Super Bag Gloves I'd pick on the Grants in a heartbeat if they went on sale.
The training gloves I'd probably stay away from. Some say that the stiffness and hardness does go away with break-in, but only after a whole lot of it.

Thanks for your input, i think they'll be fine because i do bag work with my cletos and they softened up quite a bit

I have a pair of the pro trainers, and thats pretty much right.. they're incredibly stiff, but they feel specatular. I've never felt a glove that comfortable and well balanced, but they are very very stiff, and the padding is thin. The padding over the knuckles is equally thick as the padding over the back of the fist, so you can really tell its balanced. Not good for sparring though. Needs lots of breaking in.. maybe too much.

I have the Grant super bag gloves, which I love, and I was thinking about getting the Grant Pro Training Gloves, too. I have the Winning 16oz velcro training gloves, but I'm not crazy about them, because they don't have much wrist support - all the padding is on the knuckles, and I don't need that much - they feel like pillows. I'm curious to hear how you liked your Winnings, and why you're not getting more. I'm trying to choose between the Grants and the Winnings. (I tried someone's Cletos, and didn't like them).

i loved my winnings but they were pillowy you cant really for your knuckles in them well which im not a fan of, but other than that there great gloves, but i wish there leather was thicker, its a thin, soft, stretchy leather that expands when you make contact, but not as durable as i would like for 285, so thats why im going with grant, i think the better quality in leather will prolong the gloves life, but the price doesnt hurt either

Thanks! I think I'll go with Grants, too. I don't need the super protection on my knuckles, and I like the fit of the Grants.

The Ratethisgear.com guy did a review of the Grant training gloves a couple of weeks ago.
