Padded thumbs, oh no!!!! Aside from that they look good. Have you done any heavy bag or pad work with them yet? I've noticed that that style of finger loops tends to cut into the webbing between my fingers. Thus I have to use wraps or modify the strap so it is just one loop.

Yea I mentioned it in the review, they worked great on the bag. They also did good for pad work.

I like the Hawks gloves better because they have a little more padding and it is softer from the get go. It would be interesting to see a pair of CSI gloves after they're warn in.

I've had a pair for about a month now and I like them a lot. The only problem is the regular size is a bit small for me (5'8" 170lbs). Basically the finger strap for the pinky is too far to fit my pinky in comfortably. I found it more comfortable to fit both my pinky and ring finger into the third loop or just not put my pinky in at all. Despite the problem I still think they are great.

I happen to own a couple pair of these gloves as well, here's my take on them:

1) they dont cut into the webs of my hands at all,

2) these gloves are pretty durable if you ask me, i take both sets to class and we go through a ton of people switching out and they have stood up so far.

3) i got the 6oz regular size and they seem to fit everyone that has tried them on, of course im only 185 or so but ive had guys that were 215 wear them and not complain about size.

4) best thing since sliced bread for MMA sparring, dont seem to hinder takedowns and most submissions are still easy to pull off except for the RNC sometimes, it gets a little difficult sometimes when your having to fight for it and the extra padding gets in the way.

Hope this helps a little bit.

Those look very similar to Amateur Shooto gloves.
