Question- How do these gloves compare to the CSI MMA Training glove? I already have those and they are easily the best training glove for MMA IMO. One of my training partners is after a new training glove and is looking at either the Primetime's or the CSI ones. These could maybe give him a dew option depending on what there like compared to the CSI training gloves
I'm getting ready to order these, and already have the CSI MMA training gloves so I will try to compare them.

edit: just ordered them from Paul, so I'll post up some pics and compare in about a week.

I will tell you this much, it is not a boxing glove and you could still break bone. As a glove that can easily transition from upright to a ground game it is a quality design.

***UPDATE***
I just finished an hour sparring session with a friend. We both used this glove and were able to put quite a bit of power without much more than glove burn. The padding is stiff but really absorbes shock. Full force would still cause damage, but it would definately be greatly decreased compared to a standard 4 or 5oz MMA style. During the entire session neither of us ever felt knuckle come through the glove and towards the end we weren't holding too much back (Probably 70-80% force). My ribs will say differently but don't listen they have been kind of sissy lately. = )

Fozzy: hope this one helps

Thanks for the input I will check back again soon.
cheers.

Lots of amatuer fighters in NJ wear the same gloves. I've sparred with them a few times and planning to buy a pair in the near future.
By the way, has anybody used the CSI gel handwraps? I just ordered a pair( They were on sale for $9.95) and would like some feedback.

You will wear them once thinking they will be cool. Then you will realize how bad they suck, how they don't fit under some gloves because of the bulk, then they will sit in your bag for ever until you find some fool to buy them from you.

I just bumped up my review of these gloves and 3 other CSI gloves.

I don't like the amateur gloves for anything other than bag work. See my review.
