the ones pictured on the ringside site are the older models. Ringside still uses the old pics but the gloves they send have the same picture a the one on my glove. the gloves that say "Hecho en Mexico" are the older models while the newer ones say "Cleto Reyes" like mines

thanz a lot bro cuz fot the longest time, every cleto reyes gloves I've seen looked like the ones you have and the one at ringside looked so different, so I thought they weren't legit. Thanx for clarifying though.

I also hear that the newer gloves are not as good quality as the older ones but I cannot testify to that because I have never used the older models

I'd have to agree in a sense (they could be hot girls....it's Hawaii after all), Cletos gloves are punchers gloves with the padding shape and hold but they should be fine as sparring gloves IF you go the same speed as your sparring partner.

Winning though are incredibly padded and soft though, the whole brand revolves around solid construction and being the most safety conscious it seems.

If a Cleto Reyes glove is a Mustang then a Winning is a Volvo.

Cleto Reyes are the best

I agree Reyes are a punchers glove I have 3 pairs. I got my forst pair from Ringside but I get all my stuff from the WBC now. They feel better and last longer. I get mine form the official site in Europe www.wbcme.co.uk I got some cool WBC stuff as well belts and medals. Ringside is OK but you get stung on the Tax and Duty at the WBC site you don't so you end up saving money less on postage to.

Cleto Reyes are the Ferrari of Boxing. I heard they are the only hand made boxing brand in the world

winning gloves are also 200 dollars.

while they are every bit as good as advertised....they certainly aren't the type of gloves you pick up on a whim.....

your Reyes are fine, unless of course you really just don't like them...

Rival makes some pretty good sparring gloves..large hand chamber (which I hate) but a fair amount of protection....

Twins are poor sparring gloves IMO..especially for boxing...
They are very flexible and are designed to clinch...plus once you wear them in a bit, they are punchers gloves...

I use Grant's, and have used grants for years...great gloves, good balance, good fit...and a perfect combo of padding and pop.....unfortunately different gloves fit different people in different ways...I bought a pair of 60 dollar ringsides that stack up (fit wise) with some of the handmade gloves I own....although they aren't as well made in the chamber..

I'm saving up for a pair of Cletos or Grants. Sounds like some great gloves.
