I bought these at the Boon Sport shop in Bangkok. They were 1900 baht. I have used them about 10 times.
Pros: I love the half length finger protecting hood. I have jammed my fingers with the open finger design and that really hurts. The leather and stitching is outstanding. No other equipment manufacturer uses this high grade leather or as thick stitching. The curved design is just right, it makes a nice sweet spot for the puncher. They make a nice loud pop when catching punches. The foam is dense and light. I didn't feel any stress on my elbows from the shock.
Cons: The wrist strap is thin. I would like it to have a little more padding. It doesn't effect the fit, but I like the padded strap in the Windy punch mitts. Actually, it doesn't even matter...I just needed to nit pick something.
I rate these 10 out of 10. Boon Sport makes the best pads.
