Bad Boy Thai pads

I will get the pictures up shortly but i ordered the Bad Boy thai pads from MMAWarehouse and so far couldnt be more happy. I will post more info on them after some use but first impression so far is what appears to be great quality leather and stitching top hadle is very comftorable and conforms to your hand somewhat. Leather seems to be of top quality and is farily hard but not terribly so. Styling is awesome and the metal buckle that the velcro strap goest through makes it easy for putting on and taking off. I picked them up for $119.

Yep, RevGear is contracted to make BadBoy pro series equipment. Which isn't a bad thing. RevGear is know for decent quality products, not top tier but not bottom barrel. A good mid-range dependable brand.

The BadBoy trademark does mark it up a bit. But they do make the equipment a lot better looking. If RevGear changed their coloring from red to white, like the BadBoys, I think they would look a lot better.

I think the BadBoy curved focus mitts, boxing glove, and thai pads look the best. And only the Thai pads have a significant markup of $30. The others items they sell are usually $5-$10 markup.

Looking at the pics it seems there are slight differences between the two but only side by side comparison would really tell but i still plan to get the pics but have been held up in my schedule and on another note, ive been around other thai pads and theese are probably the best ive been around so far. The leather looks excellent and all the rivets look firm as well as the straps and closures and the padding seems good as well the only thing that is hard to judge is the stitching and only time will tell there. The only pads i think possibly would be better that i saw online were the Boons and maybee Hayabusa but i know this is a can of worms i dont need to open.

Yea, I actually really like the Bad Boy thai pads. But it was just too much money for $120. I went with KOFightgear thai pads for $80.

The Bad Boy eyes on the thai pad and focus mitts look like they would be good to keep visualization that you are trying to hit a person rather than a pad. If I ever came across some money and a need for new thai pads, I'd like to pick them up.
