Just received my Anaconda shorts in the mail today (thanks to Chris/www.rdfc.tv). I think my waistline has increased a bit, damn donuts, so the fit for XL was too tight for me but I fortunately have a skinnier bro who tried them out.
Initial impressions are very good. The material of these shorts is completely different from any other fight shorts on the market, which helps it stand out. BJJ guys who've gone no-gi are gonna love this the most, I reckon, since the shorts have not only gi material in the crotch/center, but the durable cotton canvas shell kinda acts like "gi-shorts", more than any other fight shorts on the market anyway.
Will post more thoughts after they are tested more in training.
