Wand Storm Gi Shorts / RDFC Anaconda Gi Shorts

Hi Flounder,

Yes, you are correct. The Wand "Storm" shorts, although very comfortable, lightweight and stylish are made with a thin cotton middle, not Gi material. There is very little function or usefulness with the thin lightweight cotton that was used in their manufacture. Please note: This is not the same material that we use in the manufacture of our Anacondas. By using a true single weave cotton Gi cloth for the middle in the Anadacondas, it dramatically improves the grip and moisture absorbtion during competition. They were designed exclusively for function.

If you have any questions regarding the Anacondas, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Take Care

Logos

Same goes for those Kaizen shorts that Budovideos carried.

Hi Farnsworth,

We actually designed and created the RDFC Anaconda Shorts (and our other shorts)exclusively for our sponsored fighters. We have several dozen amature and entry level No Gi/MMA fighters that we sponsor and we were using these shorts to "get our name" on the fighters while helping them out in their career aspirations. After many of our sponsored fighter friends, training partners and comptetitors starting seeing them, we were receving a ton of requests to buy them for their own use. Hence the reason why they have the logos and site markings that they do. FYI... We no longer use the logo that is on them now as we have evolved to the triangular logo look and in the future, if the demand is there, we may produce a similar Gi short without all the logos/site as you have suggested.

Thanks for you input,
Take Care,
Chris - Red Dragon Fight Company

Send a message via ICQ to Flounder
Chris,

I have a question. Is the Gi material a panel actually sewn onto the regular shorts, or is it a full panel that is actually part of the shorts?

Really like the idea behind these. To clarify, though, you're saying that if I bought these shorts off of your website, they'd look just like the photo on the site? These aren't currently available with the smaller logo?

Thanks! I may still but a pair, but would much prefer something with less branding.

Flounder,

The entire shell of the shorts is created from a very heavy weight durable cotton canvas material. The Single weave Gi Material is sticthed onto the shorts at all seams and across the entire surface of the Gi material in 2" wide diamond stitch configuration. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Hi Farnsworth... Would never blow off a possible customer or valid inquiry/statement at all. We work very hard to address all concerns, questions and feedback on a personal level. Fact is, if you were thinking it, chances are, many others were as well. You did me a favour by asking the questions. Thank you for taking the time to post.

If you have any further questions of if I can be of any further assistance, please feel free to PM me here or you can email me directly at: info@rdfc.tv

Hi Buckswin,

Yes, that is correct. The only style Anaconda shorts that we have in stock at this point in time are the ones shown on the site. A smaller logo/less branding alternative is likely in the works for 2008 when our stock of the excisting models has depleted somehwat.

Take Care,
