Anaconda Short from rdfc.tv

I bought these shorts a few months ago and thought I would give a review of them. First they are not like most grappling shorts that I have seen. They are made from a durable cotton canvas, noticibly stiffer than a typical short. The other unique thing about them is that they have a piece of cotton Gi material running down the middle. This is a really cool detail. The Gi material is absorbant and somewhat grippy. I end up playing half-guard quite often, our BJJ club is small and I end up training with the heavy weights who are at least 40 lbs. more than me. I find the Gi material helps hold people in half guard so I can then concentrate on a sweep. The shorts are comfortable, very durable and help my game.
RDFC also shipped them out very quickly, within in a few days I of ordering them they were at my house. Compared to the Gi I ordered from the US which took weeks to arrive, I was very impressed. I'm going to be ordering some more gear soon and it will be from RDFC. Their prices are good, service was great and the product superb. I'm one happy guy.

It seems to me it was within a week or so. It matters on where you are, in Canada it's very fast. Compared to the weeks it took to get a Gi from the states I was very impressed. I will be ordering from these guys again.

They should really make a version without the logo. The price is great, but the the logo just ruins it for me.

Same goes for those Kaizen shorts that Budovideos carried.

I have a pair of Wand shorts with that Gi type material. I never really noticed it helping with submissions, but maybe it's just me.
