i have these shorts as well. They are great. I acutally like them better than my sprawl vflexes. They are really nice looking shorts that are functional. I was skeptical for getting them b/c they didn't have a split seam so I thought they were going the be restrictive. I was wrong. Someone asked if these shorts looked good on a brown person. They do, I'm pakistani (a brown person) and they look really sharp. I got a few compliments on them. I can post a pic of me wearing them if you guys want. As for sizing I'm b/t 32 and 33 I went with the 34. With the drawstring they fit perfect. I'm 5'11 188 lbs and they are right above my knees. If you are looking for a pair of shorts I would look into these. The only thing I would change is I wish they came in blue.

so i just got the shorts from nogi last night (taking advantage of the 25% off shorts sale they have going on) and...i love them!

they fit pretty true to size, maybe a bit on the tight side (in comparizon to my sprawls)...great for rolling...im surprised about how comfortable they feel while kicking considering they don't even have leg slits...very good looking shorts...ones i'd even consider wearing to the beach...

shipping was also quick, great job to the guys at nogi

I got a pair of these back in January and they have been in my normal rotation for MMA. I go 3x a week for 2 hours a pop. I have ~3 other pairs of shorts, so these get worn a little less than once a week. I've also worn them to the pool a few times. Love the way they look, and really like their performance, BUT... The velcro on them leaves a lot to be desired. I've never used the hip pocket for anything and the velcro has almost completely pulled away from the body of the short. I also have some velcro fraying at the closeure (along with some threads) and the prickly part of the velcro on the fly is falling off into the soft stuff.

Most of the major seams are holding up just fine, but the detail work is dying at a rapid pace. Anyone else running into this?

The velcro stitching on my pair's pocket has come ripped off aswell, I hope their new shorts are better reinforced.

Let us know how that turns out. We bought up most of Nogi's old inventory on the Echo and OE shorts to make room for their newer designs.
