Kentucky is the most gun friendly state in the country, I fucking love it.

Glock 26:

and pepper spray:

HOWEVER: my paranoia is rational. I don't go out for a night of fun with my gun tucked in my belt (although it's probably in my car). I almost always have a little can of pepper spray with me. It's just too easy to carry around, so why not.

If I expect trouble it's NOT a fun night out is it? well, my best defense is prolly avoiding to get completely pissed from liqour.
Ive managed well, never had to fight, never been attacked, few times been threatened...hm..oh..I've been teargased once, not much to do but cry really :p

Except for 2 curves, a straightened out paperclip clipped to my backpocket or shirt.

It's just a paper clip, but it will do serious damage if inserted into someone's ear canal, eye, or nasal passage.

I have spent a lot of time traveling in unsafe places. Carrying an obvious weapon would only have gotten me in ore trouble and probably meant me bribing police or spending a night in jaiol if there was a problem. In these situations I prefer a carabiner as relatively innocuous when attached to your bag of belt loop to hold your keys but if you choose your carabiner carefully they make excellent brass knuckles of a sort. Also if you have to carry a bag in an area where you might get into a fight, a messenger bag does well. Its easy to throw a punch with these bags on, and if they are buckled tight are also easy enough to run with. That said, I have been in a few fights on nights out in Canada and in America. Drunk guys (almost always more than one at a time) love to fight me because I am big. Somehow they think it will prove ow tough they are, and I hate it when they do this when they start threatening the girl I am with. The good thing is that these guys are drunk and stupid, hence no weapons are necessary. I might be lucky to take on three people when we are both sober but when they are drunk and I have only had a few I have never had any trouble. I am just glad that most decent fighters I know, don't go looking for fights.
