My wits.

Cell phone. Smartest choice: call the police, call your boys for backup, grab it and hold it tight and swing.

Also, comfortable shoes for running.

my balisong/butterfly knife from the philippines. I got used to carrying it there and it just carried over to the states.

In the car I keep an aluminum softball bat with the top sawn off. Never had to use it thankfully. For walking around town I have a surgical steal knife that is used to cut up whales. (one end has a curved ice-pick, the other a standard blade) This knife was confiscated from a concert years ago and given to me and it hasn't rusted even a little.

Pocket knife, Bic pen, and I have a couple Kali stick sized wood rods behind the seat of my truck... Prolly gonna get a CCW license soon tho... Just haven't gotten around to it.
