that's why it would be best if u were trained because then you would know what/where to hit and what not to. if u didnt then u could cause some serious damage. im not saying its completely practical but it could be possible for some people who would rather not carry a deadly weapon like a knife or gun. just my 2 cents.

Tyre iron in the door pocket of my car, luckily in the UK the worst that most people will carry is a blade so don't feel the need to carry a concealed weapon, would maybe reconsider if I moved to the US.

I agree, they are good to have in a car glovebox/trunk but i mean to walk around with that when your out drinking...thats a bit rediculous, a person may get drunk and crack a person in the skull with it regardless of training, or drop it and have it used against them. Its better to leave it at home or in the car rather then walk around carrying one everyday.

Yehr, I've sparred against two guys at once before and it is completely different to one on one. I usually favour inside fighting, e.g. a clinch, but as soon as there were two guys I couldn't use any of that. :/ If you get caught out on the street something like Muay Thai is the best way to go just because you can keep distance with kicks, and with distance you can escape.
