Here's mine here:
Shooter Classification Lookup
My Competitor Number is: 3880768
I'm self trained and self taught, (actually not entirely true) Alot of folks that compete in High Power have either a military background, or started as a junior in smallbore etc. Not me.
I used a few books:
1. Eugen Herrigel's Zen in the Art of Archery
2. Joe Hyams Zen in the Martial Arts
3. Carlos Hathcock Marine Sniper
4. H.w. McBride a Rifleman Went to War
5. Musashi Book of 5 Rings
6. Bruce Lee Tao of Jeet Kune Do
7. Lanny Basham Freedom Flight
8. Various stuff by Alan Watts.
I dig philosophy and that's how I approached learniing the "Art" of shooting as it were.
Once, going to a match in San Antonio I ended up staying in a "Death Wish" hotel, cause it was last minute in the summer, When everyone goes to Sea World and what not I guess. At 11PM someone starts trying to pull the door off the hinges. I went up to the side of the door, and racked the slide on my 45 as loud as I could, just like you'd do with a pump shotgun. That did the trick, fucker vanished into thin air. Couldn't find them anywhere, when I looked like 2 seconds later. That's about the usual that I've seen so far.
