Survival Books or Websites

I was wondering if anyone has some good recomendations for suvival books/guides, or even websites out on the the market or even the stuff you have to get from places like gun shows.

In particular I want to learn about outdoor/wilderness stuff like shelter, traps, tracking animals, home made weapons, etc. Oh and stuff on preparing your home for the worst. Any suggestions?

As always... Thanks,
Bill

Lately, I've been getting into the survivalist subculture and while I'm still very green and lack many of the resources you're looking for, one in particular comes to mind: nutnfancy on youtube.

YouTube - nutnfancy's Channel

His videos primarily consist of gear reviews moreso than survival techniques, but it has helped me to assemble an everyday carry system. So far, it seems like a decent enough starting point.

Go to amazon.com and get the SAS survival guide. It is cheap (i got mine for 7 bucks shipped) and it should satisfy your quest for knowledge for at least a month. It has many good tips to survival in various climates. It also addresses some edible plants. It is the best general survival guide out. If you are considering attempting a survival type situation it is always recommended that you read books on the particular habitat you are going to be in.

You might want to check the "Zombie Survival Guide" out. It could come in handy one day.
