Sold on Cold Steel!

I know it's not exactly breaking news that Cold Steel makes great knives, but I am completely committed to buying my next knife from them. Order their catalog, it comes with 2 (Two!) free DVD's showing the abuse their knives can take. Unbelievable! I'd also like to add, their prices aren't bad at all considering the quality of knife you get. I don't have anything against Emerson (I actually like him) but paying 200+ for a knife is not my thing.

I dont know what you guys are talking about.

they are super expensive.

I like the Jim Wagner RBB by Boker Plus, and I think THAT is too expensive!
compared to the $200-$400 price tags on a cold steel folder, the RBB is $90.

cold steel - NO WAY!

Yeah, but they have lots of other quality knives much cheaper than what you mentioned. Seriously, their product line is huge.

sure they have more, but the ones I mentioned I think are some of their bread and butter.

Note that only 4 knives you mentioned are greater than 150 bucks. The other knives still have decent prices.

maybe I'm from another world
to be thinking this, but I'd like to buy my tactical folders for less than $50.

You can get the Vaquero line, and some of the non folders like the Desperado, or the Kobun for under $50. The smaller Voyagers are cheap as well. Try some of knife outlet sites. Like knivesplus.com, they had reasonable prices for most Cold Steel stuff.

I own several Cold Steel knives, they rock.
