The ONE you WILL not let go...

... be it a sword, or a special blade, or a gun, rifle, shotgun, or whatever that has supreme value to you. Maybe your great grand -daddy gave it to you, maybe you are a Highlander and there can be only one!

Point is, what is it, and why will you never ever get rid of it.

Mine is my Model 94 Winchester, Lever Action .30-30 caliber rifle. I always wanted one as a kid, growing up watching Chuck Connors and John Wayne stack people like cordwood with it. More so " The Duke " with the large looped bow, on his .30-30. So, when I graduated from AIT and settled into my perminate duty station in the Army, I went to a gun show and bought one. It took me over a year to track down a ' Large Loop/Bow ', and get it fixed onto it, but I did. And I will die with this long gun, if I ever have children I hope their childrens children will pass it down.

That or I will be burried with it! And screw them ingrates!

My new goal, is the pure customization of it now. Like adding a mount for a ACOG 4X, and the scope, either one. Reflex might be better. A tactical sling, plus mounts. And a nifty dura-plastic butt mount for extra rounds.

But anyway, thats my baby... what are some of you guys?

Mine would be my modified short sword. Like you always wanted one, just took me awhile to save the money up, but it was well worth it in my view. Other then that, my 357.

Dito Boxcar I have a Win. 94. myself. It was handed down to me by my grandfather, because I'm the only one of his grandson's to bare his last name(or have balls). Before he died I bought him a Springfield M-1 Garand, because it was his dying wish. Thats a 30-06 and it has the same sentiment. What seperates you and me is that I don't care if I have children because I'd rather keep these guns for myself even in the after life. Also the Win. is a 30-30, but I don't have the big loop.

Mine is a H&R 12 guage single shot shotgun. First firearm i ever bought "myself" when i was of legal age to do so. I remember slaving away all year when i was 14 or 15. The day my fac came in the mail , not 10mins later i was on the way to the local store to buy it. It looks relatively harmless inits size but the lightwieght of it when you put a 3" mag into it will leave your shoulder bruised. Many years and firearms collected later, it is still my favorite one to pull out for fun shoots back home.
