New Toy
So I ordered this awesome toy today.
SOG Fusion Spirit FS-01
Looks like it is going to be a lot of fun. It is a knife with a spear head. The handle screws off and lets you put it on any type of handle to make your own bad ass spear. I'm not sure of the practical application but I decided I had to have it.
Anyone else have some mindless / not so practical weaponry?

I once bought an Evel Knievel Stunt cycle and launched into this kid's face He had to run home crying.. It was pretty extreme, but otherwise useless!

You wind it up, it goes like a little bugger, goes across the floor, grabs this little Barbie doll, throws her on the floor, gives her a little lovin', jumps back on the motorcycle and goes whizzing out the door screaming, 'G.I. Joe is a ***got!' " -- Evel Knievel

I have actually been looking for a contraption like that for boar hunting, "safer" then shoting over the head of your dog if he got it cornered

Yah the fusion line is their import line. Its all quality stuff its just not made in the States like their other gear. A lot of their fixed blades are pretty pricey. Check out the combat tomahawk its pretty cool. Thats not the new standard issue one that marines are getting though - its made by another company although they can choose the SOG model but it costs them some $$. There have actually been some kills using them. Pretty intense.

I have the SOG tomahawk, it's not bad quality, but it probably doesn't compare to the ones that the American Tomahawk company sells (which I think are the ones a lot of military guys use).

Man, that really brought back some memories bud. I had gotten one of those bad-boys for X-mas.

I really like those hawks in the axe section. Although I am unsure of the quality. Is cold steel good?
The tomahawks are also cool.
Manventureoutpost.com is good for prices also.

Cold steel is ok. I like Benchmade, Gerber, and Microtech is awesome. I have a few Microtech auto's that are bad-ass. If your interested in this check out the Microtech "TrooDoon Combat" model. I have taken it to many shithole areas in the world and its always been 100%. Its a little expensive but its quality to say the least.
