Kimber Lifeact

Has anyone used the Kimber Life Act? Its a long (relative) range chemical self defense weapon. I'm just curious about their reliability, etc. Any help is appreciated

Nope, never used one. I bought a couple of their Guardian Angels. I gave one to my sister and keep one in the car.

I instructed her to stick it in an attacker's mouth, eye socket, or nostril and yank away.

i seen the guadian angel. i was thinking it would have been smaller, it is the size of a garage door opener. i think that 2 shots kinda suck, when under pressure and you never really have shot it off i think i would be hard to hit your intended target. i feel much more comfortable carrying my surefire defender, or a knife. if i was to ever carry a oc weapon i would carry a streaming spray.

RE: life-act

There used to be some great stuff called Counter-Strike. it was intended for Campers to use on Bears. It was like 25%+ Capiscum Pepper. I bought some when I heard a couple people died from it in Alaska. I thought man, anything spray that can cause death is gotta be good! It was too, I sprayed some in the air and let it drift back, and that shit was intense. Way worse than Tear Gas. After several yeasr though it lost its vitality, so I used it on bicycle rides where shit-head dogs would come and chase you. It fixed their ass.

But now all that pepper spray stuff has been regulated down to like only 10% strength, so if you sprayed a big Goon he'd just kick your ass, and then go cry later.

What's the fun in that?

I suspect this Kimber thing is about as lame as down-graded pepper spray.

The thing that intrigued me about was the range. It is under a high-discharge propellant that is supposed to give it great range. The downfall of CS and pepper is that they have to be in range for it to work and they could still subdue you.

I'd rather have a Kimber 1911 than some less-than-lethal panty waist BS.

If you're gonna get attacked and someone is trying to maim or kill you... why not return the favor?
