Is the "cross draw" set up worthwile? Or is it just cowboy bullshit?

strong side holders are the way to go, quick on the draw, good to have speed loaders on the opposing side. forget about cross draw for cars, if your that worried about being in the car and pulling, put the firearm under your right thigh.
gp100, i would deburr and look into a new grip. i have the sp101 and with the rubber with plastic inserts, 357 mag the gun would flip in my hand, i changed it out for some pachmayr grips and i am looking into Meprolight Tru-Dot front sight, i was shooting outside at dusk and could not find my sight
that is my taste. but really to each his own. whatever you choose, do not switch styles of carry, other wisw you'll reach for your strong side while your firearm is set up in a shoulder rig.
