I clicked on this thread thinking it was about sacking a MUCH older woman but this is cool too.

I realized I pretty much like all cougars; the women, the cat, and the gun.

I am curious; if you had to toss out 2 of those pistols which one would you keep?

I would keep the black Beretta PX4. It holds 20 rounds with those clips(9mm), it's the lightest since the bottom frame is made of polymer plastic, its has the picatinny rail for mounting lights/lasers, it has night sights that glow 24/7, it comes with 3 diffrent sized backstaps that are for diffrent sized hands (not that rubber slip on grip)

That's a nice collection you have there. I googled silver cougar and all I am coming up with are blued ones. It's made by Beretta, correct? What are the advantages of a rotating barrel, if any?

Beretta originally made the cougar but then sold all their machining equipment to a company called Stoeger which is basically owned by Benelli which is owned by Beretta. This is a special edition made for Cabela's and its actually a teflon silver coating on the gun that helps improve dry lubrication and makes it look really nice, almost like stainless steel but it sparkels like diamonds under the sun.
The rotating barrell works by everytime the slide is drawn back, whether by hand or recoil, the barrell rotates at about 45 degrees the same way that the rifling inside the barrell spins. The advanteges of rotating barrell include; less stress on the metal of the gun, less recoil felt by the operator, and improved accuracy.

New grips, screws, and put a new hammer spring in it.
